The Global Voice With Susan Piontek

This week on THE GLOBAL VOICE I will be interviewing THE LITTLE BIT FOUNDATION -an organization that is making going back to school a very happy time for so many underprivileged children in the St. Louis metropolitan area. In the almost decade that has passed, their mission has grown and so has the vision of the organization. From coats, to shoes, to backpacks generously filled with nutritious food, to dental care and now with thoughts of medical assistance, "Little Bit" is no longer so little. It has grown way beyond the infant stages] walking into a new decade with vision, voice and a plan. I will never forget one of the letters that was shared with me. It came from one of the recipients, "Why are you all called the Little Bit Foundation when you all have given me a lot?" From the mouths of babes, that just about sums it up.
