Betty Auchard became a writer at 68, when she started writing about her adventures and misadventures while learning how to be single after her husband of 49 years passed away. The stories became her tool for healing, and turned her in to an award-winning writer, and at 75 Betty became a published author. "The Home for the Friendless," her current book, took about 10 years to pull together, and was released just after Betty turned 80. Flourish Over 50 is one of the first stops on Betty's "Virtual Book Tour" as she introduces us to her book about finding hope, love and family.
