Success with Nathalie Dompe, CEO of Dompe, meeting unmet needs in ophthalmology

Nathalie Dompe is the CEO of Dompé Holdings, a diversified holding company in Europe with a 130-year history and business interests in pharmaceuticals, precision agriculture, and deep-tech. She also leads Business Development for the Dompé group, working closely with her leadership team on market development and strategic positioning for all new drugs launched by Dompé in the US.  

Despite its long history as a European primary care business, today Dompé has the entrepreneurial spirit and culture of a biopharmaceutical start-up with a focus on investment in research, innovation and technology. Most recently, Nathalie was proud to be part of the team that created a significant footprint for the company in the United States. Less than four years after initiating US operations, Nathalie achieved a dream shared with her father, Sergio Dompé, of bringing to this market a breakthrough treatment for a significant unmet need in ophthalmology.  

While each leader in Dompé’s history charted a path distinct from that of the prior generation. Nathalie is working hard to extend her father’s vision to pursue biotech innovation. Her strategy is to build on Dompé’s legacy of deep scientific research led by a brilliant team of scientists while investing in growth projects that will deliver a sustainable cadence of new innovations to the market for the next 50 years.
