Why are there so many deaths in the banking industry these days? Is it coincidence or an anomaly? The latest death came when a J.P. Morgan Chase (JPM) employee in Hong Kong jumped to his death, falling from the roof of the company’s Asian headquarters on Tuesday. Local news reports in Hong Kong said police arrived at the scene but were unable to stop the 33-year-old man from jumping. At least five other banking related deaths have occurred since the beginning of the year. So what gives? Do they no something? Are these really suicides?
John Omalley (Retired Government Worker to weigh in.)
