We tell stories about our work and our play but rarely think about the difference between the two. Tonight we will define work and play and discover that for some of us we are really playing when we work and working hard when we tell ourselves that we are playing. We will discuss careers that allow some of us to play while others get trapped in a life of hard work. We will explore our important relationships in the same light as well as other important life activities including sex, sports, various games and even our hobbies. Our story will, of course, deal with money, a factor that by itself can determine the difference between working and playing. Finally, we will deal with emotions such as joy and various forms of misery that reveal to us the truth of whether or not we are playing or working.
