No more long stories from yours truley. I am boring and frustrating myself and I suspect my listeners as well. It is time for us to have dialogue and share stories. Millions of people have experienced the transformation in living when, through their interaction with a "therapist" (professionally trained, a teacher, cleric, family member, friend or any other person) the story they lived by was changed. Many individuals now lead happier, more loving and creative lives when they found a balance between being a member of a group sharing common stories and a self that creates its own personal narrative. Such individuals have moved from accepting dehumanization and abuse in authoritarian families, schools, churches and society at large while at the same time renouncing their own roles in the dehumanizing of themselves and others. They have struggled successfully to live in democratic relationships in which they speak but also listen and function as better "scientists," "politicians," and "psychologists" for themselves and others. During todays episode I will provide my listeners with information on how to contact me with their desires to share the stories of their own transformation. I also invite stories about how "therapy" might be used to used to mitigate some of the social horror now increasing all over the world.
