Dr. Sarah Caudill is a member of the scientific team that discovered the existence of gravitational waves in February 2016. A Stetson University physics graduate, Caudill has deep roots in the Central Florida region. She sat down for a short interview with her hometown radio station, WSBB AM 1490, to discuss the discovery and talk about the path that led her to Stetson, science and the LIGO collaboration. (LIGO is an acronym for the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory, developed and operated jointly by Caltech and MIT.)
