Healthy Haiku Radio Interviews Ms. Oni Lasana

Ms. Oni Lasana, the poet, discovered and nurtured a spirit driven

passion for poetry as a youth. Her first published poem "Tropic Of Dreams" won 1st place in her elementary school's poetry contest.

The poems prophetic message manifested itself, when as an adult Oni "bloomed where planted" just outside her hometown of brotherly love and sisterly affection, (Philadelphia) married and raised her children in the beautiful countryside of  Chester County, PA. 

From the time she learned to write, she penned love poems to her mother. As an adult, she discovered the communities and people of Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Oakland, Jamaica, Miami,  Mississippi, Trinidad & Tobago as unending inspirations.
