Alright Everyone we’re back.  Coming to you this Saturday from Georgia.  Its been a hectic move, but there’s no shortage of show material for sure.  Thank you to everyone who understood last weeks absence as I was on the road.  Alright, this Saturday June 29th, 10 am Central and 11 am Eastern we’re going to talk about (Too) Quick to Shoot.  Now this isn’t just Police Officers killing citizens, we’ll also talk about the Politicians and Police Chiefs that are quick to Shoot off their mouths and shift their officers at special interests and privileged people’s requests without the slightest understanding or concern as to how their absence from their neighborhood could affect their relationship with the community.  There are a lot of good Police Offices out there, sure I wish more would speak up, but I know there is also a corrupt root in the profession that places some Officers, depending on the city, in fear for their lives if “they tell.”  Countless deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of overzealous offices have their deaths brushed aside by a settlement without a policy change or in many cases criminal charges filed.  Wrongfully stopped, detained, searched and jailed only to be exonerated 10, 20 30 years later at taxpayer expense in the millions.  Nobody is winning but the for-profit prison owners, politicians and stockholders.  The call-in number is 646-716-4621 and press 1 on your phone if you’d like to join the conversation.  Travis Evans, Host of The Point will be my co-host along with Tyrone K Dunmore, Retired 32 Year Chicago Homicide Detective Joseph Mosley, Walter Gus Glover, Robert Drakes and of course THE FACEBOOK LIVE CREW.
