Spread the Wealth

Some cities have overcome large crime problems and settled into a “comfort zone” and resumed their lives.  Other cities struggle with high crime rates on a daily basis.  Some citizens get to pick up the paper and read about the crime problems somewhere else for a change.  Some citizens need only look out their front door and its there.  What would happen if the cities that have overcome their crime problems partnered with their sister cities struggling to get a grip on crime?  Imagine the good that can come when the citizens  that overcame help its neighboring city that dreams of overcoming.  Criminals network so why don’t citizens, and police from neighboring cities?  After you get your house right, work on your street.  Once your street is right, work on your city.  When you get your city stable work on your county.  Once your county is good, your state will be better off.  It sounds crazy, but just imagine.   I do NOT speak for the City of Waco, the Waco Police Department, the Officers, Civilian Employees or Citizens of Waco.  My opinions are based on my personal and professional experiences.
