The Inclusive Classroom

Mary Falvey joined the faculty at CSLA in 1980, and assumed the responsibility of coordinating the program in severe disabilities and inclusive education. She is a national authority on inclusive education for students with and without disabilities. For her excellent contributions as a professor at CSLA, Dr. Falvey received recognition as an Outstanding Professor in 1987 – 88. She was the Director of Student Services for the Charter College of Education 2004-2006. Since July, 2006 she is the Dean of the Charter College of Education. CSLA is an urban campus located in East Los Angeles, with a majority of students representing diverse ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
