Dedication: Police Officer Justin Scherlen, Amarillo Police Department, Texas, End of Watch: August 4, 2016

Southern Sense is conservative talk with Annie "The Radio Chick" Ubelis and Curtis "CS" Bennett.  Informative, fun, irreverent and politically incorrect, you never know where we'll go, but you'll love the journey! Southern-Sense.com

Guest: Don Scoggins Committed to expanding the GOP, especially within the black community, Don was instrumental in forming the Frederick Douglass Republican Forum, a multi-racial group of Virginians dedicated to increasing Republican Party membership.  Guest: Corey Clagett is not a kid anymore. He has spent a decade alone in a prison cell. He was released from prison after serving nearly 10 years for the killing of Iraqi civilians.

Now 32, he has been released on parole from the U.S. Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. The Moncks Corner native lives in North Carolina, working for the group that helped win him parole, 10 years after a trial during which some veterans say he was made a scapegoat for atrocities ordered by his commanders. www.UnitedPatriots.org

That was the price for a horrifying sequence of events on May 9, 2006
