AGRI-TALK Vinayak Shedekar - Soil Quality Test Kit May 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm

2:00 May 25, 2016 – AGRI-TALK Ryan Mapes, Duane Rigsby and Mike Thompson features Vinayak Shedekar
Research Associate - Soil, Water & Bioenergy Program who will discuss some of the research programs that assist the agricultural community.  He will demonstrate the Soil Quality Test Kit.  The Soil, Water and Bioenergy Program develops and promotes research, extension and educational programs for agricultural management practices that sustain soil & water resources and are economical for producers and growers.  This team of scientists and engineers has a diverse background in research and extension activities related soil health, cover crops, water quality and Bio-Energy Crop. They currently have 8 grant research projects on agriculture sustainability, climate change and mitigation, and ecosystem services.
