Dr. Tyffani Monford Dent is a licensed psychologist and author. She is a graduate of Wilberforce University and Wright State University. In 2012, she was named a Wilberforce University Outstanding Alumnus and in 2016 was recognized as one of Who’s Who in Black Cleveland and deemed an ATSA Fellow for her significant contribution to the field of prevention and response to sexual violence.
Dr. Dent has collaborated on several projects that have addressed sexual violence including a resource guide for universities on Title IX, a guide for Ohio legislators on public policy and juvenile sexual offenders, as well as being the developer of Sisters of Tamar Support Circle, a faith-based sexual abuse support group guide.

She has authored two books: Girls Got Issues: A Woman’s Guide to Self-discovery and Healing, a self-help book addressing issues of emotional health and women and You Got This! A Girl’s Guide To Growing Up, geared towards developing emotional wellness in girls.
