There is a lot of expectation placed on a shaman. Because they sit in the inbetween place, everyone expects that they will receive special favours from the Divine. A shaman is no better that any one else. The only difining thing is that he or she is able to communicate and exist between worlds. Once upon a time, the shaman had a group of people who looked after their basic needs. Today the shaman must navigate the world most times alone.

Remember the challenge presented to one in the past, "You think you are so special and can do all these miracles, why don't you get yourself down..." Modern shamans are challenged in the same way. These individuals have connection with spirit but they are also exist in limitation in bodies that requires feeding and clothing. Most shamans have an outside job as well as the job of being there for anyone who require their assistance.

Sonia shares from spirit, insights and information to hopefully support the modern shaman in his and her journey and job on the planet.

Sonia wrote a book The Question: Separation to Integration, A look at the human spiritual journey.
