Aledia Kartchner, Author InsideOUT, on Something Wonderful

Aledia Katchner was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She is a 33 year old mother of two sons, Orlando and James III. She has one brother, four half brothers and two half sisters. Prior to her dramatic conversion, she was a model and professional dancer. Aledia's modeling career, which began at the age of four, included hair shows, print work, and department store advertisements. Her dancing career allowed her not only to travel to all 50 states, but included over 20 stops in Europe, from Amsterdam to Munich. As a backup dancer for rap superstar Nelly, she performed at the Radio Music Awards and BET Source Awards. This collaboration also led to her performing in Murphy Lee's "Luv Me Baby" video. Aledia's travels to the Ukraine and Dominican Republic were of a different nature. They were desperate attempts to shed the cloak of unworthiness and self-hatred conceived by a cycle of abuse. What a difference a day makes...October 11, 2011! The essence of Psalm 51:17..."a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou will not despise," was manifested in her life. God has mandated that Aledia share her testimony of redemption and self-actualization to hurting young women around the world. She truly is on a divine mission.
