Rick Sammons started RightPath Business Advisors, LLC in May 2007 after spending 2 years as manager of a CPA firm’s Controllership Group. He spent ten years improving information coming from corporate accounting as controller and accounting manager at two local manufacturers and a software development company. He tested internal controls, wrote accounting policies and evaluated operational procedures so the companies could continuously improve their information.

Mr. Sammons is experienced in dealing with the accounting and financial reporting needs of manufacturers and service organizations with revenues ranging from $1 to $50 million. He has helped clients with vendor contracts, sales tax issues, and implementing and utilizing software to perform analytical work. His efforts enable him to reduce costs and reporting errors through incorporation of efficient and effective procedures.

Rick has received his CMA (Certified Management Accountant), his CPA and his BBA in Accounting. He served as President and Board Member of the Lincoln Trails Council of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and as President and Board Member for the Northern Kentucky Chapter of the IMA for the past ten years. He currently serves on the Emerging 30 Committee and as Chair of the Small Business Development Committee of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of Tri-State Association of Corporate Renewal (TACR) and the Greater Cincinnati Venture Association (GCVA).
