Michael Sutter started his own business to help people. Michael loves being an entrepreneur because of the flexibility it offers. He runs his own business based upon his principles; and pursues customers who share the same business ethos.

Over the past 15 years, Michael has enjoyed saving fellow entrepreneurs time and money by directing them to smart technology decisions and investments.

Michael created his first company: Retech Computer Equipment, in 1996 to help individuals who couldn’t afford (or sometimes didn't "need") the latest/greatest technology. Experience taught him that no matter how much power had been built into a computer system, effective usage often equated to unusual software applications, automatic backups, service and repairs. Michael says, “The ever changing puzzle of equipment fascinates me, and ensures that the IT industry will continue growing. I enjoy helping people embrace—rather than shy away from—technology as a way to help their business and personal lives.”

Michael evolved that business into Retech Asset Recovery Solutions. He scaled his efforts to help larger businesses effectively manage their IT assets. Retech Asset Recovery Solutions worked with US Bank, Siemens, Kroger’s, Children’s Hospital and other companies to streamline their ongoing processes of technology turnover.

In 2009, adapting to the changing computer market, Michael Sutter created Budget Business Computers. With so much pre-owned equipment available, he focuses on the needs of schools, non-profit corporations and small businesses whose budgets are frequently limited. Michel says, “I love what I am doing and plan to remain in the IT industry, wherever it takes me - and I take it!”

Michael will discuss how companies can save money on pre-owned and off lease IT equipment, and will also give tips on how to purchase surplus IT assets and turn them into cash.
