soflynmythirties will be interviewing Smooth Noise, a Jazz, pop, soft rock, R& B--Groove Band. They were formed in 2009, by Vol Thompson, out of Fort Worth, Texas. Vol traveled to New York, Texas, Georgia, Las Vegas and many more cities in search of a burning passion (LIVE MUSIC). Smooth Noise,  has taken Dallas Fort Worth by storm. In less than 6 months the band went from playing every few weeks to weekly. We will be interviewing thirty-something, Vol Thompson, and one of the members for this broadcast!

What sets Smooth Noise apart from other local bands is not only do they play great versions of Miles Davis, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu just to name a few but also put on a live show that is as close to a live performance as you can get without actually seeing the bands themselves. From the “Tutu” that Miles Davis is known for, to the wailing saxophone solos, to their very own “Gordon Pope” on bass, and a drummer that is as close to the style of Joe Chambers as you can get, Smooth Noise brings it all to every show they do.
