From the pages of "Absolutely Sober" we read:

   He cries out. My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?*

    Here the Word of God, executed by the Word of God, abandoned by His Father, deserted by the Holy Spirit, goes to the one place we all can go. He goes to the refuge he prepared for Himself and all of us who feel abandoned by God and without hope in the world. He authenticates his truth. He establishes the veracity of His scribe-recorded Word. He stamps His Holy Scriptures with His own blood. 

    This is the New Creation. He is the Word who goes to the Word for comfort. He quotes from his own words which He had, many years before, put into the pen of His servant David the King. He cries out and His written Word comes alive:
