4,637 days ago I began a journey which started at 3 PM.  That was the final air date of the classic soap Another World on NBC.  AW was an old friend having first watched in 1964 - 35 years later I watched Carl & Rachel slip off "All's well, that ends well".  The two following Junes were uplifting for many AW fans thanks to AW Reunions held in New York City at the infamous Blondie's.  We made inroads.  We kept Bay City alive and we continue to do so today.

Last Fall, Anne Sweeney laid down the gauntlet for GH viewers - "it's all about eyeballs".  Not quite.  With anything Disney, there are always clauses hidden in the fine print which lay out an advantage to the corporate entity as opposed to the loyal viewers.  Tonight we discuss the Agony & Ecstasy of the Anne Sweeney challenge.  And, like it or not, I'm going to tell you WHY Anne Sweeney is destined to WIN and cancel General Hospital.  It's as simple as that.

We're going to discuss the DVR blackout of last Friday and how those failures may hurt the weekly ratings for GH.  Then a special message to you all about this journey of 4,637 days and how it has changed my life as this journey comes to a close.  Join the chat, get immersed in the discussion.   And prepare yourselves for a Sermonette which speaks to the truth without spin.
