KELLY MCKINNEY:
Kelly McKinney is an author, screenwriter, producer, actor, and director born in Kokomo, IN.
Although I had done stage-work all my life growing up, I got into the film industry after I wrote my first feature. The project created a lot of buzz about my writing and people approached me about the script. Ever since then I have been learning everything I can about film, from every aspect, in every position. Among the many shorts in Arts, entertainment, and education that I have done and published on YouTube. I am in the middle of filming the first feature-length X-Files fan film, I just finished Co-Directing the first episode of a TV series called Red Bottoms, I'm also the UPM for Chi-Raq the TV series in Chicago, the 1st AD on a feature called Sunshine Day as well as a cast member. My production company also has two other TV series on the table for this year, one of our very own and the other was created by my friend and fellow author, Mike White in Chicago. In post production is a comedy short called "Flesh-eaters Anonymous" that will be ready to submit to film festivals and be released in the fall.
