With A Heart of Thanksgiving.  What exactly is Thanksgiving? The Greek word for Thanksgiving is: eucharistia: thankfulness, giving of thanks; gratitude.  An attitude of gratitude!

A thankful heart is grateful.  A thankful heart is appreciative.  A thankful heart looks with a positive view of life. A thankful heart trusts God.  A thankful heart honors God.  A thankful heart sees God as Holy. 

7 Reasons why God wants us to have a heart of Thanksgiving:

1.    So your prayers are effective - Phil 4:6-7

2.    Because the peace of God will guard your hearts and mind  - Phil 4:6-7

3.    The God of peace will be with you  - Phil 4:8-9

4.    This was the example of Jesus and Paul  - Phil 4:8-9

5.    That you may be innocent, blameless, above reproach and the world will see Jesus in you  - Phil 2:14-15

6.    That you won’t be judged yourself  - James 5:9

7.    This is God’s will  - 1 Thess 5:18
