SHARONNELSON/GAIL GOODE RUNNING FOR THE UNITED STATES SENATE

My name is Gail Goode and I am running for the United States Senate. I am challenging junior senator Kirsten Gillibrand. As you may well recall, the junior senator was appointed by an unelected governor. New Yorkers deserve the opportunity to select their own senatorial candidate, just like Americans all over this great country. While I am not a politician, I am qualified to be a senator for the people of New York. For the past 24 years I have been an advocate for the City of New York. Currently I serve as Deputy Borough Chief in the Brooklyn Tort Division of the New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel. As Deputy Borough Chief of Trials, I defend all city employees who are accused of negligently performing their duties on the job. From 1992 through 2006, I served as a major case trial attorney for New York City Transit Authority; I handled high profile cases, including the Union Square Derailment, The Fulton Street Fire Bombing and the Fifth Avenue Bus Crash
