IS ISIS A REAL CRISIS? WITH SCOTT RICKARD

Occasional truths interspersed in the propaganda of the corporate media suggest that ISIS is not what it seems. We know that it is a product of the intelligence agencies of the US, Sauds and others who have created a terrorist Army in Syria. The myth of "moderate" terrorists is so patently false that it was ridiculed in an Any Borowitz column, yet "serious" commentators in the corporate media have yet to consider what all this means.

Is ISIS the deliberate creation of a network of intelligence agencies or the "Frankenstein's monster" some call it? Is it fulfulling its function in creating pretexts to oust al Maliki in Iraq, create a cooperative Kurdish enclave in Iraq, and attack Syria to establish a base for US-backed terrorist operations aimed at destablizing the nation? Even if it was a deliberate creation, has is gotten out of control? Are the US-led attacks actually aimed at ISIS at all, or are they merely a pretext to justify a wider conflict with the goal of "controlling" the entire Mideast through creating chaos that prevents any other power base from arising?
