OBAMACARE V HEALTH CARE WITH KARL EYSENBACH

With the disastrous rollout of the inaptly named "Affordable" Health Care Act, Americans are again debating what the real effects of Obamacare will prove to be. The arguments in the corporate media by both supporters and opponents of the bill are rife with distortions, cherry-picking of facts, outright lies and partisan arguments that add much heat but little light to the debate.

This is the perfect time to examine how Obamacare was created and how a process dominated by the insurance industry resulted in what some predicted early in the debate: A bailout for an insurance industry that was pricing itself out of existence. If supporters of ACA do not start to acknowledge its fatal flaws, the political fallout for the Democratic Party and the cause of true universal health care is likely to be enormous.
