There has been a lot of concern about what Congress will do to adress the problem of funding Medicare in the face of an aging population and a decline in the income of the fewer young workers who are expected to pay for it.

Older citizens were among the most vocal in opposing the only reform in Medicare that can save it, a universal, single payer system like those that have worked so well in other countries.
