There will be no peace in the Mideast until there is justice in Palestine. That will require that Americans and Israelis understand the cost of the occupation  to themselves as well as to the Palestinians who suffer under the yoke of Israeli and American repression and aggression.

On January 12 our guests were Palestinian bloggers and scholars Rana Alshami and Fidaa Abu Assi. Rana is a student at the Islamic University in Kahn Younis, southern Gaza who writes for the blog Rana "Palestinian Child." Fidaa is a Fulbright scholar from Rafah currently lecturing at Hamilton University in Clinton, NY. She writes for the blog Gaza in Words.

We discussed their personal stories and those of their fellow Gazans in the context of the history of Palestine since the Nakba in 1948.

SFPI Radio is the international talk show designed to allow those struggling for social justice around the world to talk to each other about how we can support efforts to promote justice, democracy and peace in every nation.
