JANINE CANAN lives in Sonoma, California. She is a mystic poet, holistic psychiatrist, graduate of Stanford and NYU School of medicine, a deep feminist and follower of Amma. All her work is dedicated to the empowerment of women. Janine is the author of 20 books that include poetry, stories, essays, and the award-winning anthologiesMessages from Amma: In the Language of the Heart and She Rises like the Sun: Invocations of the Goddess by Contemporary American Women Poets. Her most recent book of poetry is Ardor: Poems of Life, and soon coming an app entitled Mystic Bliss.
