Scottscope Talk Radio 3/1/2014: Going for the Gold!

On this week’s edition of Scottscope Talk Radio, we’ll be discussing the 86th annual Academy Awards.  Who will be taking home an Oscar?  Will 12 Years a Slave make history?  Will Steve McQueen become the first filmmaker of African descent to the join the likes of Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, and Martin Scorcese?  Does it even matter who wins?  Are the Oscars even relevant anymore?  Have any past Best Picture winners stood the test of time?

The remainder of the show will be something of a freestyle session, though it’s possible that a few underlying themes may develop along the way.  You never know where the roundtable will go when certain topics are raised.  That’s why it can be interesting to simply let our minds wander to the farthest reaches of the pop culture stratosphere.  Feel free to join in the fun and follow us to our ultimate destination.
