Woods, Sr., D.Div (referred to as 'the preachers' preacher & mentor') was born in Tulsa, OK is the proud son of Cozetta Roby Woods (a church musician and orator) and Rev. William Harrison Woods (a national evangelist and civic activist). Dr. Woods is the 3rd generation in a continuous line of five generations of preachers & prophets. He Founded & pastored Woods Cathedral Church of God in Christ (COGIC) where he has worked faithfully and untiringly in the vineyard of the Lord. Superintendent/Dr. Woods, Sr also was senior pastor of the New Mount Zion COGIC and serves under Prelate Bishop John Henry Sheard, Michigan Southwest 1st Ecclesiastic Jurisdiction.
