Sorry it's been awhile boils and ghouls, but mama Sasha is back w/ more conversations on Horror.  Today I'd like to talk about something near and dear to me- the depiction of Transgender People in fictional works, especially Horror.  Being Transgender myself, some wonder why I love the horror genre since many people say they depict my people in a negative light.  Though True in most cases, it does give the medium an opportunity to improve.  I mean think of this way- we now have strong Female and Ethinic Characters outside of the stereotypes of yore but we had to broach the negative before we found the positive.  For example, look at Laverne Cox in "Orange is the New Black."  But let's talk about some old and new Transgender Characters in Fiction!
