Kids aren’t born with an “off” button.  And I don’t mean the one you wish you could push when they ask, for the thousandth time, “Are we there yet…”  I mean the kind of learned behavior that enables them to know the difference between good and bad responses.  They don’t know, until they are taught, that overreacting is not the way to handle every situation.  Not everyone is disrespecting them, and not everyone is out to get them.  When they don’t learn these lessons, what kind of adults do they become?  Join me as I discuss this subject, and share insights from my special friend, author Jo Michaels.  For links to the pages discussed in today’s show, see below:
