  1. LOVE: conditional VS unconditional. Matt 5:43-48; Luke 6:34-35.
  2. PEACE: as the world gives (enforced by violence) VS peace as God gives (enforced by love). Josh 10 VS John 14:27; Rom 16:20.
  3. DESTROY: direct destruction by killing people VS indirect by dying for people. John 10:10; Heb 2:14.
  4. PUNISHMENT: extrinsic, like a judge putting a burglar in prison VS intrinsic, like a smoker getting COPD. James 1:13-14. God does not punish like a court judge does. Sin brings about its own punishment. Sin carries punishment within itself. Rom 6:23; 1 Cor 15:56. God allows sin and evil to punish itself. This is punishment allowed by a loving Father in Heaven thru the principle of the cross. Heb 12.
  5. JUDGMENT: like a law court judge VS judgment by the cross or by “the Word” of the cross. John 5:22; 8:15-16; 12:47-48.
  6. RESIST: by force VS by absorption of force. 1 Pet 5:8-10; Matt 5:38-39.
  7. WEAPONS: Carnal VS Divine. 2 Cor 10:3-6; Eph 6:12-end.
  8. LAW: Law of Moses VS Law of Spirit of Life in Christ (Law of Love or Law of the Cross or Law of Christ ). Rom 8:1-4; Gal 6:1-3.
  9. SWORD: inflicts death on the enemy VS inflicts a self-destructive death on the one who wields it. Matt 26:52; Judges 7; Ps 7:15-16; 9:15-16.
  10. LIFE: life given at natural birth VS Life given at regeneration. John 3:4-16.
  11. WISDOM: of the world VS of God (the cross). 1 Cor 1:17-end chap 2.
  12. CONQUER: by killing VS by being killed. Rom 8:35-37; Rev 5:6.
