Who have we forgotten about?

With every thing that's going on, legalization of this, legalizing that, this right and that right. This is on fire, save this animal and that tree. All of that may be a great cause, but what about the homeless and hungry right here in your own backyard? You have the liberty to do what ever it is that you want to do with your money. You send money to people that you may never see, in a country that you may never visit. Not one time have I heard anyone donating to that cause. And if i have overlooked anyone or any group please forgive me.
