Hack-Man is a retired software engineer, wrestling ringside photographer, wrestling journalist, wrestling referee from Minnesota. I've been watching pro-wrestling since the age of 9 (1974) when I had access to GCW/NWA, AWA, and WWWF. I miss Gordon Solie. I miss NWA WildSide. I miss the original ECW. I even miss WCW. I haven't been entertained by much in pro-wrestling in the last 10 years, but am cautiously optimistic that if a new "Monday Night Wars" develops between WWE and TNA then both companies will have to start putting out a better product. I have been active in the rec.sport.pro-wrestling Usenet newsgroup since it started in January 1990, though less often in the past years.
