Hailing from Denmark, Volbeat have been around since 2001 and their unique sound, superb songs and energetic live shows have built a fanbase which continues to grow daily. They've been described as a cross between Metallica, The Misfits and Johnny Cash which may be true but even then they continue to evolve. Aside from the music they have an image which while familiar is also unique, with very stylized artwork and set designs which has spawned a merchandising arm second only to the likes of KISS and Iron Maiden.
