In the East Region, Villanova is the No. 1 seed while the Virginia Cavaliers enter as the No. 2 seed. During the regular season and before his injury, Justin Anderson was one of the best players in the country and was making the Cavaliers look like a top-three team in the country, without question. After his injury, will he be healthy enough to help Virginia make a Final Four run?

In the South Region, Duke locked up the top seed by... losing in the ACC semifinals? The Blue Devils built up quite the resume during the regular season, but it's odd looking at a No. 1 seed who couldn't win its own conference's regular season or postseason tournament. With Duke comes Gonzaga, the No. 2 seed, looking to, at the least, get over the hump and advance past the first weekend.
