The Padded Room - Unlocked and Unplugged

Lucinda Wormsbaker is a 43-year-old woman who has undergone two major career changes in her life. After spending 6 years in retail, she decided it was time to go back to school to pursue her first love-radio. She spent 15 years in several markets, with jobs as news anchor, music director, and finally program director. During a hiatus from broadcasting in ’01, she tried her hand at candle making, and a part-time business was born. She went back into radio full-time again in ’03 so the candle business was set to the side. Then in September ’07, she decided it was time to take her part-time passion and make it a full-time business, and she launched The Light Fandango Candle Company.

She has a wonderful husband of almost 2 years, 4 cats (Fluff, Puff, Kermit and Fred) and a border-collie mix named Hannah, who is her baby. They all live in East TN where she runs her business from home.



A Life without hope is like living behind the locked doors of a padded room. Ruby and Tracy want to help you find the hope needed to unlock those doors.

Two regular gals, passionate about being real in the midst of their own real-life health and emotional challenges, are here to encourage you in yours.
