The Rising Apple report will continue to provide a preview of the NL East with tonight's episode at 9 pm. Earlier this week, we spoke to Fansided writers who cover the Nationals and Marlins. Tonight, we'll be joined by Fred from Tomahawk Take, a Braves site, and Matt from That Ball's Outta Here, a Phillies site.

It seems that both of those organizations are in a re-building mode, so we'll talk about the general mood surrounding the Braves and Phillies as the start of the season approaches. We'll discuss players to watch, any hot prospects who may be on the way, and how long until we can expect both teams to return to contending.

Of course, there will be plenty of Mets talk too! We can discuss Matt Harvey's health, the fact that the Mets have not won a game in two weeks (are we worried?), and some of the nagging injuries that have plagued the team. We can address possible Royals' retaliation on opening night, and the projected rotation for the first week.

Mike Lecolant of the Rising Apple staff will join me, but we want to hear from you too. So give us a call at 646-929-0337, or listen to the show at the link below. We're excited for the season to start, and we know you are too. So let's talk some NL East and Mets baseball!
