And we have reached the (unfortunate) finale!

The Rising Apple Report wraps up its first season with a bonus Closing Day special! Sam Maxwell will host, with Rich Sparago calling in live from the Citi Field parking lot!

The last series of the season has been a microcosm of how poorly the Mets have played at home all year (32-48). We'll discuss some theories on why they played so much better in other people's ballparks (41-40).

Terry Collins will receive, as speculated, a 2-year extension. We'll discuss how we feel about this first bit of offseason news.

And Mike Piazza will be a Mets Hall of Famer in a couple of hours. We'll reminisce on some of our favorite memories regarding the all-time catcher.
