Artists to compete August 13th to receive a Samsung tablet, a radio interview and listening session, and feature as special guest performer at 3 new Tampa venues!

* Ci Ci Keenan, poet & organizer of I Want to Be Heard, is seeing her dream come true: an opportunity for the best of the best of Tampa’s artists and poets having a platform to express their creativity. Ci Ci will shed some light on how it goes down tomorrow and introduce some of the competitors.

* 813 DaCity - loved music & rhyme from young, traded Dr. Seuss books in grade school, always listened to his father's Hip Hop, R&B CDs. At 14 he lost his father, began using his passion. His love for music & rhyme became more influential in expressing himself. Today, DC has evolved into a full-bodied musical lyricist, using music to give others a view of life through his eyes. 

* Rae Mercurie is a self-proclaimed singer, songwriter, poet, & performer. In pursuit of her dreams, she hopes to spread her music & literature far & wide, spreading a message of Love, Inner Peace, & Consciousness. Collaborating with Graphic Designer & Multimedia Artist/Director Billy J. Santiago of BJS Media, Rae's latest EP single entitled The End to be released on Aug 12th, 2015. 

* Phil Coale is a blues guitarist & singer/songwriter out of Tampa, Florida. He has his own band which released their first ep this year and is currently playing regular shows in the Tampa Bay Area. His music, guitar-driven, mixes old blues with a modern sound. He's currently in the studio recording a full length album.
