John Putch director/writer
The son of late actress Jean Stapleton and the late producer/director William H. Putch, John Putch is often referred to as an independent film maverick. One of his first indie efforts, "Valerie Flake," landed him at the '99 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. Experienced in both Drama and Comedy, John’s other notable films include the cult indie favorites: BACHELORMAN, MOJAVE PHONE BOOTH and the ROUTE 30 TRILOGY films. TV directing includes: Family Tools, The Goodwin Games, The Middle, Body Of Proof, Scrubs, Cougar Town, My Name Is Earl, Ugly Betty, Grounded For Life, Outsourced, and multiple television movies and mini-series.
