Today's Guest-Author Kim Bady and Author LaQuinta Pollard

Today on Uplifting we will be speaking with Author Kim Bady-Inspirational speaker, author, consultant, full-time student, and loving mother of a 7-year-old son sound like a full plate. But, this only begins to describe Kim Bady, who exudes an over-flowing energy in her quest to empower women to be the best they can be encouraging them to embrace their inner authenticity and transcend limitations in their lives. How fitting that Kim wrote the book, Authentically Me, to tell the story of her personal journey of self-discovery. And she is now working on Authentically You, in which she challenges women to remove the many layers of labels (or roles) that society uses to define them. The main theme in both books is finding the beauty of authenticity. The very essence of who we are. We also talk to LaQuinta Pollard,  As an author, songwriter, recording-artist, orator and founder of WITH MY WHOLE HEART MINISTRIES© - her love and passion for Christ exudes through her many gifts. As a speaker, she loves to teach and inspire others through her journey in Christ. Her conversational style of teaching draws many and her openness encourages others to trust that “all things work together for good”. She believes that being real and transparent is what draws people to build a real relationship with Christ. As a singer, the hearts of those who listen are blessed because she sings with the passion of Christ. When this woman of God stands to sing, people are embraced and edified by her melodious voice. As an author, her passion for writing is inspired by the Word of God, personal life experience and others. She has published several pieces of work, written and taught numerous bible studies, and has completed her 1st book Ramblings of Wisdom. She is also a song writer, composer and arranger, and her music will be featured on her debut CD in the very near future.
