Voice of Rio Grande, Dr. Sax and Jennifer Lackey October 12, 2016 at 3:00 pm

VOICE OF RIO GRANDE – Host Dr. Richard Sax, Provost of the University of Rio Grande & Rio Grande Community College features Jennifer Lackey, Assistant Professor of Psychology, School of Health & Behavioral Sciences.  Jennifer will be discussing her background (born and raised down the road in Meigs County, Ohio); training; and what attracted her to the University of Rio Grande. She’ll talk about clinical psychology as a field, and how it is different from "experimental" psychology.  She will share some examples as a therapist, and her approach to therapy. Finally, she will be discussing research, especially with rural populations, and her hopes for future research involving rural populations.
