3:00 pm May 11, 2016 - VOICE of RIO GRANDE with Host Dr. Richard Sax, Provost of the University of Rio Grande & Rio Grande Community College, features Dr. Rose Isgrigg, Assistant Professor of Biology.  Dr. Isgrigg will discuss and show many different wild flowers that beautify our area,  some of which include Yellow and Pink Ladyslippers; Fire, Pink and Showy Orchis; Leanin’ Lena; Columbine; Jack-in-the-Pulpit; Conkel’s Hollow; and many other flowers to name a few.  More important, these flowers provide a very important natural resource that keeps our eco-system stable and friendly to our way of life.
