April 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm - TECH TALK with Kingsley Meyer, Duane Rigsby and Mike Thompson. Discussions surrounding the 60 Minutes segment on Sunday  as to how easy it is to hack cellphones?  One weakness was the “Signal 7” component which is the internationally used middleware protocol to exchange information on roaming and billing information.  Discussion also surrounds “Data and Goliath: The Hidden Battle to Collect Your Data”, by Bruce Scheier. This is a book on who accesses and collects our data and how those parties (business & government) exchange your data for control & profit.  Other topics include:  Which applications leak our information(?): The End User License Agreements? Just click “I Agree”; what information /data will the IOT devices store in data centers; and how will that be “shared” among parties(?) and more.
