The World Amateur Handicap Championship

Host, Bill Sferro, welcomes Dave Macpherson,the tournament director of The World Amateur Handicap Championship. It is an unmatched combination of competitive golf and a rollicking party. Held in Myrtle Beach, the 72-hole tournament attracts 3,000 amateur golfers of all ages and playing ability. Placed in flights based on gender, age and handicap, participants play a different Myrtle Beach golf course each day. At night, the fun continues at the World’s Largest 19th Hole, where free food, drinks and live entertainment deliver a good time. A fifth round “Flight Winners Playoff” allow the nearly 80 flight winners to compete for World Champion bragging rights.
