A Tribute to Dick Gregory - Author, civil & human rights activist, comedian, humanitarian, anti-drug crusader, health freedom advocate, philosopher, peoples advocate, nutritionist, and recording artist.  Dick Gregory first gained notoriety as a comedian in the late 50's joining a new generation of comedians (including Nipsey Russel, Bill Cosby and Godfrey Cambridge) who broke from the stereotypical minstrel characterization of Blacks.  Dick evolved in his comedic presentation by beginning to focus on current events, human rights and Black issues.  During the American turmoils of the 60's, Dick's Awareness and compassion lead him to spend more time for health and social justice than on performing.  He even ran for president at one time!

Dick Gregory passed on Saturday, August 19, 2017 leaving his wife of 59 years and 10 children to miss him.  We will pay tribute to Dick Gregory with reflections of his life and call-ins from anyone who wants to speak about how he influenced them and the world.
