Words from the Well w/ Wendy L. Harvey

Erica Michelle grew up in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. She saw first-hand how drugs, violence and poverty destroyed the lives of many in her community.  Even at a young age Erica knew there was something missing from her single parent home—her father.  His absence left a deep scar on her heart.  Although Erica never experienced a lack of love, support or guidance from her nurturing Mother, deep down inside she was plagued by the spirit of rejection.  It was not until adulthood that Erica realized she secretly blamed herself for her father’s absence.

At the age of 40, with two failed marriages, Erica Michelle walked away from everything she once knew. It was then that she realized she needed to make drastic changes in her life. She had to start all over again. She began by renewing her relationship with Christ, which lead her on a journey— a one year sabbatical. During this time, she found healing, deliverance and freedom in the midst of one of the darkest times of her life.

Erica is now an Author of “My One Year Sabbatical: A woman’s guide to finding Self-Love, Healing and His Master Peace”, Entrepreneur, Professional Speaker, Christian Life Coach and the founder of a women’s movement titled: Her Heart Hurts, Too! Erica Michelle has become known as “The Broken Heart Specialist” who is determined to prove to other women that it’s never too late to heal from past hurts and design the life of their dreams.
